  • Follow up post to my moan about new mousse….
So Pantene (UK) have release a new formula for their mousse and i like i said before it is rubbish :/ it’s leaving a oily residue in my hair which is present even after washing, it doesn’t define my curls it just leaves them with a frizz to them from the first minute, i dare not take a hair dryer near my hair (yay for wet hair and winter), my hair is a utter mess even after taking twice as long to try style it.
So after emailing the customer help line they just say sorry, say all comments are appreciated and it will be take to the quality team. and they’ve offered my vouchers. (i did send a nice email, i wasn’t rude it any thing, if anything i praised them for their old mousse as it was brilliant but then pointed out they’re now doing nothing different to every other mousse manufacturer).
And the person in charge of the twitter account is swearing blindly that they’ve only changed the can and put a new fragrance to it… yes a new can and fragrance get the title “NEW FORMULA”. So naturally i thought i’d read the ingredients, and the picture above is what i found:
4 ingredients take out
11 ingredients added in
one of them ingredients is the same but is a different version of it
only one of the new ingredients links remotely to smell
parfum can be any combination of smells to create a smell
I’ve also left them in the order they appear on the can, the nearer the start of the list the more of it there is to the mix. Thats why aqua is pretty much at the start of every ingredients list!
any one else found this if they use Pantene curl defining mousse?
